Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is an objective-based multiplayer first-person shooter game involving two teams, both with objectives to complete each round. Every player will be put on either the Terrorist or Counter-Terrorist team and attempt to complete objectives and eliminate the enemy team.

Completing objectives and eliminating enemies earns the team points, while negative actions, like terminating a teammate or hostage, takes points away from the team. In addition, when a round ends all players receive some amount of points, with players on the winning team receiving substantially more.

In this scenario, you will get to play Counter-Strike’s most well-known game modes both involving Defuse and Hostage missions. Players will have to work together as separate squads but must complete their objectives to earn their team the maximum amount of points per game. We will put their military skills and teamwork to the test.

The year was 2025 and Westworld Paintball had been attacked by zombies in a post-apocalyptic barren desert environment. Although the Sun was shining brightly, a sense of doom filled the air. The survivors were fortunate enough to witness the Humans battle the Zombie hordes, showing little fear and great courage.

Mission 1:

The humans fought bravely trying to reduce the size of Zombie armada! Unfortunately, only head shots would permanently keep a Zombie from its hungry, flesh eating ways. Though the humans were able to slow the onslaught of the undead, it was merely a speed bump for the Zombies on their quest to feast on all things living.

Though the first round of Zombie hunting went in favor of the Zombies, the Humans were able to retrieve several critical perks, but unable to retrieve the Juggernog and Pack-A-Punch.

Mission 2:

The Zombies, who had just dined on fresh Human flesh, seemed to have an ever increasing appetite for raw meat. The Humans devised a plan to lure the horde into a trap and harness the power of electricity to try and end the madness through a mass Zombie electrocution. The power station that was to be used had been nearly destroyed by the Zombies and was in an almost inoperable state. However, the plan worked and the trap was sprung. Unfortunately, the Human who threw the electrical switch electrocuted himself in the process. (Ooops!)

Mission 3:

With their backs against the walls, the Humans were almost out of options. So when one of the remaining Humans announced he had seen a talking bear who claimed to know the location of a “Magical Mystery Box” filled with guns, ammo, and special weapons, no one even bothered to argue (they were after all, fighting Zombies). The chase was on for this “Box” that could prove to be the difference between victory and defeat.

As luck would have it, the talking bear had been “Bear-Napped” by the Zombies and must be rescued if the Humans had any chance of finding the necessary supplies to defeat the remaining Zombie army.

As the humans located the talking bear a fierce fire fight ensued, ultimately leading to the rescue of the bear and the acquisition of the “Magical Mystery Box”.

Mission 4:

With a new pet bear and a cache of highly lethal Zombie annihilation weapons in tow, the Humans had to get out of Westworld and make their way to safety by way of the last remaining school bus in town. Wave after wave of Human warriors attempted to make their way to the school bus only to be stopped short of their goal by the once again rejuvenated Zombie pack. When all was said and done, the Zombies were able to prevent the Humans from escaping and the Humans became Zombie food.

Want to improve your game and help your team win more often? Master these three simple concepts and watch your winning percentage skyrocket!

Guns up:

From the beginning of each game to the final horn, you should always have your gun pointed in an offensive position. Don’t be the player that is “sleeping” with his gun pointed down. You’ll be eliminated every time.

Whether you are in a major fire-fight or are simply surveying the field looking for your next target, ALWAYS have your gun at the ready. If not, you may miss an opportunity to eliminate the opposition or you may become a victim of someone who followed this rule.

Running & Shooting:

As the title implies, this tip is about shooting while on the move. This is a relatively simple technique that most players overlook for some unknown reason. Simply place your gun in a firing position and make your way to the next bunker.

The key is to lock your barrel in the direction you are looking. Imagine an army tank. As the turret on top moves the barrel follows the same course. This is what you want to mimic. When done properly, you can survey the field as you are advancing, keeping your fingers on the trigger in case an opponent becomes available to shoot along the way.

Reloading:

In today’s high-speed games you never want to give your opponent an opportunity to take the upper hand in any situation. However, many times this is exactly what happens when a player reloads.

To prevent yourself from giving away the advantage you hold even if you have to reload your gun, simply:

1: Practice removing your pods with one hand and holding your gun in a firing position with the other.

2: Always line up the tabs of your pods in your harness going in the same direction. This way when you remove a pod you will know where the release tab is and you don’t have to waste time hunting for it.

3: Practice pulling your pod from the harness, flipping the tab open and dumping your ammo into the hopper.
